The Challenge

Scaling sales profitably past $125K/month

Like many Amazon business owners, Brian was struggling to scale his business. In Brian’s case, he was finding it impossible to break through the $125K/month barrier.

He knew his limited understanding of Amazon PPC was holding him back. The only PPC campaigns he was running with any success consisted only of Auto match and Exact match campaigns.

The Solution

Introduction of all Sponsored Products targeting types

The first priority was to add Broad and Phrase match campaigns in order to find more ways that shoppers searched for Brian’s products.

Scaling the ad budget while simultaneously optimizing the bids to ensure we are hitting the target allowed for 24/7 visibility resulting in a dramatic increase in product visibility and sales.

Through the continual testing and addition of new converting keywords, we were able to scale highly efficient, laser-targeted campaigns.

As soon as we maximized the sales from keyword targeting campaigns, we moved onto product targeting campaigns to drive further sales volume.

The current focus is the rolling out of new Sponsored ad formats; Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display and Video Ads.

The Results

100% increase in sales revenue

The systematic expansion of Sponsored Products match and targeting types saw an increase in monthly impressions from 4M to 12M, an increase of 300%.

This translated into more clicks, more sales and more conversions resulting in a 156% growth in sales revenue. 

The introduction of video ads, Sponsored Brand and Sponsored Display ad formats has proved exceptionally successful. Within the first 30 days, these ads were generating a healthy return with a profitable ACoS of 31% and above average conversion rate of 15%.

The addition of aggressive Sponsored Brand and Sponsored Display targeting campaigns helped this seller gain multiple best seller badges along with a significant uplift in organic rankings.

The strategic addition of match, targeting and ad types has boosted PPC sales by 289%, from $37,935/month to $147,567/month while retaining a profitable ACoS.
